Today the weather was perfect for a celebration at Arrington Vineyards.
Usually, when I visit Franklin and Nashville, TN, I like to spend an afternoon at Arrington enjoying a picnic and a glass of their signature wines. Sometimes there is not enough time to visit.
This trip we did make it! I had not been able to visit the vineyards for seven years. Even though It has grown since they added vines and an event pavilion it still is quaint and super relaxing!
Arrington was started back in 2003 by Kip Summers and another partner who had a passion for wine. They bought a hog farm and started clearing the land and planted grape vines to begin their vineyards. Country music star Kix Brooks now owns Arrington, along with Kip Summers the winemaker, and businessman John Russell.
These vineyards are now known as Nashville’s wine country.
In 2007 Arrington became official for producing their own wine. Although they only sell their wine in stores in TN and feature them in restaurants in NYC and New Orleans, they also have a wine club. To learn more about them, you can check out their website Arrington Vineyards.
You can go to the Arrington Vineyards to experience a wine tasting or have an event; such as your wedding, office party or any event you want to spoil your guest.
Arrington Vineyards is a great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or just to get away and relax for a few hours.
I hope you have a chance to stop by and enjoy their wines and views with family or friends. Let us know if you have ever been to Arrington, and tell us what is your favorite vineyard? Please share with us below.
