One of the reasons my son loves Nashville is their Nashville Hot Chicken and the place to get the best is Hattie B’s Hot Chicken in Nashville, TN. Don’t let the long line outside discourage you from waiting to order, it’s worth the wait!!!
This is one of their newest locations in the Nashville area; it’s Nashville Melrose at 2222 8th Ave. Nashville, TN 37204.
They have ample seating both inside and out at this location.
They have many levels of heat for your chicken sandwich or platter.
Heat Levels
Southern – No Heat
Mild – Touch of Heat
Medium – Warming Up
Hot – Feel the Heat
Damn Hot – Fire Starter
Shut the Cluck Up – Burn Notice
Their Banana Pudding is a must for me, and if it’s available try their Peach Cobbler, which is seasonal. They serve ice tea, lemonade and soft drinks and beer on Tap craft, local and domestic also in cans and bottles.
They serve their chicken on a slice of white bread to soak up the hot sauce and serve it with pickles.
I recommend the platter of Hot Chicken, and for the sides I prefer the baked beans and the banana pudding. (yes dessert as one of the sides)
They have merchandise for sale, so you can take a piece of Hattie B’s with you!
